It’s that “time of the month” again!

For many women, this time of the month is really NOT a pleasant time.
It’s painful, irritating and emotional.

My advice:
Pain killers as needed
Pamper your skin
Plenty of exercise
Bubble baths
And bed before 12!
Team all that up with a positive attitude and you should get through it in the best way possible

if you look good, you feel good so I step up my skin regimen to the max.
La Roche-Posay is my skin savour at the minute.

I am blemish free and my skin tone has improved dramatically.
Every ones skin is different so I am not going to list the products I use but trying them out is highly recommended by me.

When it comes to moisturising, I am an absolute Crème de la Mer addict.
But when the purse strings are tight I use Ponds.
Ponds has been around forever, Look at your grannies skin if it is flawless, trust me when you ask her what her secret is (other than amazing DNA) she’s going to tell you she’s been using pond since she was a girl!
It’s just brilliant!
My skin usually gets a little dry when I have my cramps so I moisturise as much as possible through the day.

I have recently started an AMAZING work out that caters to my needs perfectly.
Through dieting alone I have lost 14lbs since the second week in January.  Between eating healthily and dancing my ass off, I can feel my energy levels rising.
Today even though I was sick I took 30 minutes to dance away my blues.
This is the best thing to do when your energy levels allow you during your period. You need to keep your body moving!.
It has worked a treat for me, I feel a whole lot better than I did when I was sitting on my bum doing nothing but check my facebook (at least I’m honest!!!)

When I bath, I step it up a notch I use Chanel No 5 Bath Gel
Its a Moisturizing and cleansing gel that I absolutely love they tell you it leaves your skin lightly fragranced and trust me, it does. I adore it the foam is rich, creamy and refreshing.

I always be SURE to have plenty of Johnsons bed time baby lotion and baby oil to hand for when I get out of the bath, not only does it make your skin FEEL amazing it makes it LOOK amazing too.
The products are all in all, fantastic.
Plus they are clinically proven to help baby sleep better, I have to say they work a treat for me too at the end of a long day!
Right now I am snuggled up in bed about to talk to my lovely boyfriend before I fall in to a satisfied and happy slumber

I really hope this post can help someone, I know how horrible it is to suffer from painful periods

XO
