La Roche Posay,Pale Skin Summer Saviour

Nourish
Protect
Hydrate
&
Sooth

I genuinely didn’t realise all my ‘must haves’ were from the one Brand, but these are the products I instinctively reach for when the sun comes out to play.
La Roche-Posay products really are my summer skin saviours.

Nourish
Hydraphase Intense masque RRP
€16.50

I’ve been using this twice a week, since the sun dehydrates your skin I counter act this by using Hydraphase.
Hydraphase
envelopes your skin in a thermal cocoon. It releases high-performance hydrating ingredients to immediately infuse and retain water in the skin for optimal hydration.  It’s simple to use, you pop a generous dollop on your face & neck, leave it for ten minutes (wash your teeth, paint your nails, anything!) then gently tissue off the excess products.
The areas that didn’t have as much excess product were the most dehydrated areas, your skin will be in love with you for feeding it such wonderful nourishing  ingredients, its worth remembering that
dehydrated skin results in a dull appearance, uneven texture, fine lines and even triggers premature aging. This stuff is brilliant! My mum couldn’t believe the results visible after her first use!

Protect
ANTHELIOS XL INVISIBLE NUTRITIVE OIL SPF50+  RRP€22.00

I use
this all over, not only does it protect your skin wonderfully -thanks to its extreme UVA & UVB protection- it NOURISHES skin too.
But that’s not actually the main reason why I love this stuff.
The reason?
As it is oil, it goes on invisible (and smells delicious)
as you all know, I am pale. Summer time usually means destroying my clothes with chalky white rubbish. I feel uncomfortable and sticky, with this?
My skin glistens, feels soft and is suitably protected.

Hydrate
La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring water
RRP€9.00

LRP Thermal Water the love of my life. I’ve gone through countless bottles of the stuff.
Here’s the official blurb, if that doesn’t blow you away, nothing will
La Roche-Posay thermal spring water is unique water. It is derived from rain water that filters through thick chalky rocks, which are natural Selenium reserves, as well as deep water about 1,700 years old that flows through the deep sands of the Cenomanian period. Its rarity is due to its exceptional Selenium content”

Yes that IS indeed true
... but it’s just SO SATISFYING AND COOLING TO SPRAY YOURSELF IN THE FACE!

Hahaha I am so refined.

Sooth
La Roche Posay Cicaplast Baume B5. RRP21.29

A wonder cream, it can be used for sore lips, nappy rash, flaky skin, redness pretty much any skin problem you can think of even SUN BURN.
Now, I don't want to burn my skin but I love using Cicaplast after being out in the sun to really sooth and relive any upset the sun may have caused my skin.
I swear by this cream.
I have had redness vanish overnight thanks to it!

Before I use my chosen products I pop them into the fridge for that extra ‘Ooohhh Ahhhhh’ blast of coolness before and after a day in the sun!

BUT REMEMBER
NO CREAM, LOTION OR POTION MEANS THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO DRINK WATER REGULARLY THROUGHOUT THE DAY!

I have and use everything here except the sun oil, but I do use their Anthelios sunscreen. I've been using the cicaplast to soothe my scalded back where I missed bits with the sunscreen on Sunday, it feels lovely and cooling on it, though I wouldn't recommend burning yourself to find out.

This is so for me!! I'm very sensitive to the sun and need extra moisture on my skin to keep it from getting so dry it breaks! Thanks for the post!

The intense masque sounds super good! I recently invested in MACs complete comfort creme which is working wonders in moisturising my skin!
